Tuning Sheet

As my computer is not near my PS3 I needed a way to transfer settings from the screen to the game. I used my phone for a while but it was quite tedious and simply writing down settings in a notebook got somewhat confusing. So I created my own version of a tuning sheet to use. There are many of these floating around on the Internet but I wanted one that was intuitive; something that used the actual names of parts in the game and had settings in the same order as you find in the tuning screen.

I intended this for use as something to print out and fill in offline but I have saved it as a template so it could conceivably be filled out on the computer and printed. Stick them in a folder or binder to be able to refer to them quickly. However you use it I hope it makes transferring and saving settings easier.

I created two versions, one for new versions of MS Word and one for older versions. The older version simply lacks the unit drop down boxes. If you don't use HP and ft-lbs you will have to manually change those. I know that I probably have not covered all the different units used in GT5 and I will release an updated version once I am able to list out all the different options. I don't know how well this would work in a non-Word document editor but I imagine the compatibility version would be your best bet in that case. If there is someone out there who can pop this into an editable PDF format I would appreciate that just to have another, more universal format for folks.

  • Version 1.2 - May 16th, 2011 - Stupidly left out a couple options under the exhaust section. Also brake balance. Added them in now.
  • Version 1.1.1 - May 15th, 2011 - Faded the GT logo watermark so it is not as distracting when printed.
  • Version 1.1 - April 27th, 2011 - Added GT Auto checklist for oil, aero, rebuilds, race mod. Skipped body/wheel paint as they threw off the layout; they can be added to the notes at this point. Removed the graphic at the bottom and added a GT watermark in its place.
  • Version 1.0 - April 26th, 2011 - Initial release!
